Gosia Wlodarczak is a Polish-born artist whose work attempts to archive the phenomenon of existence as a concrete set of lines and shapes. Actual experiences, perceptions and actions are distilled into her work as she maps out collages of overlapping segments of the present. Her practice may be described as cross-disciplinary drawing, with drawing being used as a basis for exploration into performance, interactive situations, installation, sound and film.

Gosia's recent solo projects include 4-day drawing performance Frost Drawing for the Library  (The La Trobe University Library, Melbourne 2011) and Between Visit & Migration (Australia Council Studio Greene Street, New York 2010). Notable group exhibitions include Singapore Biennale 2011: Open House (Old Kallang Airport, Singapore 2011), Freehand: recent Australian drawing (Heide Museum of Modern Art, Melbourne 2010/11), and Multiple Matters - Grafische Konzepte (International Print Triennial, Vienna 2010). Gosia has been the recipient of a number of grants from Poland, Australia and the United States and regularly conducts artist talks throughout the world.
