The Young Collectors Program provides an ongoing selection of affordable artworks as an entry into the world of contemporary art. It is suitable for anyone under the age of 30, from high school students to university students, from seasoned art enthusiasts to those who are just curious, from young couples setting up their new home to savvy entrepreneurs looking for an investment.  

Here at Fehily Contemporary, we believe that contemporary art holds the capacity to inform, enrich and confront. Nowhere is this effect more pronounced than in youth, when the novelty of experience still resounds in all of life’s activities. For this program, Fehily Contemporary intends to wring contemporary art from an almost exclusive market and make it available to a younger audience.  

Young people with a passion for art now have the opportunity to purchase reasonably priced art works from talented and renowned artists, kick-starting their journey of art collecting. Many older collectors we’ve spoken to become misty-eyed when recalling fondly the first work of art they purchased. After years of collecting art, it is always the first piece that maintains a special place in their hearts. We want to ensure this first piece comes from a Gallery that is committed to encouraging and developing the artist’s creative journey, keen to share this process with young eager collectors.
